Repeated choruses benefit from transitions that manage escalation.
Instead of stopping between choruses:
- bass can change two-beat→walking
- a turnaround can grow more active
- modulation can be prepared by a dominant
- an interlude can briefly strip texture before final chorus
The transition helps each chorus become the next rather than sounding like repeated copies.
