For C:

LH beat 1:

C

LH beat 3:

G

RH:

play E-G-C lightly on beats 2 and 4.

So:

bass – chord – fifth – chord

For Am:

A – chord – E – chord

For F:

F – chord – C – chord

For G:

G – chord – D – chord

This is a very useful generic ballad texture.
