8.36Cadences deserve special treatment

At the end of a phrase, simplify or emphasize.

Example:

During phrase:

arpeggios

At cadence:

G7 full block chord

then:

C full block chord

The stronger texture reinforces the punctuation.

Or do the opposite:

slow down and become sparse.

Either way, treat phrase endings intentionally.
