8.30Pedal strategy

For broken chords, pedal can connect notes beautifully.

But the basic rule remains:

Change pedal with harmony.

For C:

play C material

pedal

when moving to Am:

release and re-pedal just after the new harmony sounds.

Do not leave all harmonies mixed together unless you deliberately want that effect.
