Write 32 bars where the bass is designed before the chord symbols.

Requirements:

• one diatonic descending bass line
• one chromatic ascending line
• one tonic pedal of at least four bars
• one circle-of-fifths bass sequence
• one bass enclosure into a structural root
• one fixed RH voicing over at least three different bass notes
• one contrary-motion passage between melody and bass
• one passage where a moving bass remains ornamental within one harmony
• one phrase where bass arrives before RH harmony
• one final cadence created primarily by semitone bass motion

Only after the bass and melody are satisfactory should you write chord symbols.
