altered harmony.

Now we are compressing complexity again.

Instead of thinking:

seven individual notes of Lydian,

think:

two major triads.

Instead of:

every altered tension individually,

think:

two minor triads.

Expertise often works this way:

learn details → understand relationships → compress them into larger usable chunks.
