74.96Apply it to “Mack the Knife”

This is excellent for repeated choruses.

Chorus 1: all major structural chords on strong beats.

Chorus 2: walking bass begins anticipating roots.

Chorus 3: RH shells anticipate several changes.

Final chorus: compressed turnarounds on 4& and beat 4.

Then final tonic lands completely square on beat 1.

That last unsyncopated arrival can feel enormous.
