A cadence can now involve:
bass arrival
guide-tone arrival
color shift
melody resolution
all at different times.
Example:
4&: RH G7alt color.
1: bass C.
2: melody resolves.
2&: RH tonic 6/9 completes.
This is far more expressive than one synchronized block.
