For D♭7, the seventh is theoretically:

C♭

not B.

But on the piano:

C♭ and B are the same key.

So when thinking function:

D♭–F–A♭–C♭

When thinking physical keyboard:

you may mentally see B.

Eventually both perspectives coexist.
