9.14Bass and melody are your two most important voices

When arranging solo piano, think:

lowest note = bass line

highest note = melody

Everything between them supports harmony.

So instead of thinking:

"Which chord shape do I play?"

ask:

"What should the bass do?"

and:

"What should the melody do?"

Then fill the middle.

This is a much more advanced but useful way to think.
