23.48Tag ending

A tag repeats the last phrase or last few bars.

Suppose final lyric/melody phrase is 2 bars.

Repeat it:

first time with original harmony,

second time with reharmonization,

third time with final cadence.

This is one of the easiest ways to create a convincing ending.
