Take:
C | Am | F | G
First play block chords.
Then use the same voicing but broken:
For C:
C–E–G–E
For Am inversion:
C–E–A–E
For F:
C–F–A–F
For G:
B–D–G–D
Now you have an accompaniment pattern.
The theory and technique are starting to merge.
