Write 16 bars in C minor.

Requirements:

  • one chromatic descending bass line
  • one temporary minor tonic
  • one half-diminished chord
  • one dominant chain
  • one tritone-substitute approach
  • one sustained melody/common tone across three harmonies
  • final structural return to C minor

Restriction:

No more than one chord per beat.

Prefer fewer.

The point is a long harmonic sentence, not maximum density.
