5.49Tritone substitution into IV

Normal preparation:

Gm7 → C7 → F7.

Replace C7 with:

G♭7

because C7's tritone substitute is G♭7.

Now:

Gm7 → G♭7 → F7

Bass:

G → G♭ → F.

Very smooth.
