LEVEL 6 — Seventh Chords

Upgrade selectively:

C → Cmaj7

G → G7

F → Fmaj7

But careful:

some melody notes may clash beautifully or awkwardly.

For example, if melody is C over Cmaj7:

the B major 7 underneath can create strong semitone tension.

That may be fine, but maybe too sophisticated for the first statement.

So use sevenths where they help.
