Final self-assessment

After recording Level 16, listen without playing and score yourself from 1–5 on:

Area	Question
Melody	Is the tune clear and expressive?
Rhythm	Is the pulse intentional and stable?
Bass	Does it form a meaningful line?
Harmony	Does every chromatic choice have a purpose?
Voice leading	Do voices connect smoothly?
Texture	Is there enough contrast?
Dynamics	Does the performance have an arc?
Fills	Do they support rather than interrupt?
Counterpoint	Are secondary lines independent but subordinate?
Form	Can I hear beginning, development, climax, ending?
Style	Does the treatment have a coherent language?
Restraint	Did I leave out things I didn't need?

Anything under 3 becomes the focus of the next revision.
