122.250The mature style question

Not:

“How can I sound more original?”

But:

“Which musical decisions do I repeatedly find meaningful across different keys, meters, tempos, and stylistic contexts; which of those are deep principles rather than surface clichés; and how can I make those principles consistent enough to become recognizable while still leaving myself room to surprise both the listener and myself?”

That is personal language.
