First harmonize simply.

Then make four versions:

Version 1

one harmony per phrase.

Very slow harmonic rhythm.

Version 2

one per bar.

Version 3

more movement under long notes only.

Version 4

accelerate harmony into phrase 3 climax, then simplify phrase 4.

Notice how exactly the same melody acquires different architecture.
