107.1The most common inner-voice problem
You have:
melody on top.
bass below.
Then you think:
“Okay, I need a Cmaj7 chord.”
So you insert:
E-G-B.
Next chord:
Am7.
Insert:
C-E-G.
Next:
Dm7.
Insert:
F-A-C.
Each chord is correct.
But the middle may jump around without any sense of continuity.
