62.98The general rule of advanced playing
The farther one musical layer travels,
the more clearly another layer should often define home.
If RH becomes harmonically outside:
LH may stay simple.
If rhythm becomes displaced:
harmony may stay static.
If harmony becomes dense:
melody may simplify.
If meter becomes unstable:
ostinato may anchor it.
This is the complexity budget we've encountered again and again.
