Once comfortable, transpose the harmonic skeleton.

If the tonic major becomes F and relative minor Dm, the circle becomes something like:

Dm → Gm → C7 → Fmaj7 → B♭maj7 → Em7♭5 → A7 → Dm.

The functions are identical.
