Conceptually:

Start: cabaret/two-beat.

Gradually: two-beat bass fills into walking quarters.

Later: brief stop-time/big-band block section.

Interlude: straightened funk-like interpretation of a small rhythmic motif.

Transition: walking resumes under the same motif, morphing back to swing.

Final chorus: modulated walking/shout texture.

Coda: return to sparse two-beat.

The important thing is that each groove should grow from the previous one rather than sound like a style demo reel.
