70.13Level 5 — use inversions deliberately

Suppose harmony can remain tonic while bass moves:

C → E → G.

That can create:

C

C/E

C/G.

Same broad harmony.

More melodic bass.

This is one of the easiest ways to improve an arrangement without reharmonizing it functionally.
