Take any 16- or 32-bar melody of your own.

Arrange five choruses:

Chorus 1

two-beat.

Chorus 2

walking.

Chorus 3

octave melody.

Chorus 4

block-chord melody.

Chorus 5

modulate up a semitone + shout riff.

Requirements:

  • one secondary dominant
  • one passing diminished
  • one tritone substitution
  • one solo chorus or break
  • one tag ending
  • final 6/9 chord
  • at least one post-climax reduction

The melody should remain recognizable throughout.
