hear harmony as layered/contextual meaning.

Workshop 37 taught:

eighth-note groove and anticipation.

Workshop 38 adds:

microscopic rhythmic placement.

You are now controlling music on three timescales:

• whole-form harmonic direction
• bar/phrase groove
• sixteenth-note microtiming

That is a significant step toward arranging and improvising with real stylistic control.
