13.1Start with the basic harmonic map

A common skeleton is:

Cm7 | Cm7 | Fm7 | Fm7 |

Dm7♭5 | G7 | Cm7 | Cm7 |

then the contrasting major section:

E♭m7 | A♭7 | D♭maj7 | D♭maj7 |

then a return toward C minor.

Already we can see two important worlds:

  • C minor
  • D♭ major
